Bentley Mulsanne ADAS Calibration

The Mulsanne was Bentley's flagship saloon before the current Flying Spur took over – discontinued in 2020 but still a presence on UK roads. Built on a pre-MLB platform unique to Bentley, it carries a simpler ADAS suite than the current range: basic Adaptive Cruise Control, parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system. No automatic emergency braking, no lane keeping – but the radar and parking sensors still need calibration after front-end or bumper work.

ADAS Systems on Your Bentley Mulsanne

The Mulsanne (2010–2020) sits on a pre-MLB Bentley platform:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control – radar-based cruise adjusting to traffic ahead
  • Top View Camera – four exterior cameras for bird's-eye parking view
  • Blind Spot Warning – rear bumper sensors for adjacent lane detection (later models)
  • Parking sensors – front and rear ultrasonic sensors

The Mulsanne lacks Active Emergency Braking and Lane Assist – these are features found on the current MLB Evo-platform models (Continental GT, Flying Spur, Bentayga). The ADAS is basic by modern standards, but the front radar behind the bumper still needs professional calibration.

When Your Bentley Mulsanne Needs Calibration

After Front Bumper Repair

The Mulsanne's long front overhang and heavy kerb weight make the front bumper vulnerable to low-speed contact. The radar behind the bumper powers Adaptive Cruise Control – any repair that disturbs this sensor means ACC stops working until recalibrated.

Top View Camera After Panel Work

The Mulsanne's four parking cameras are positioned around the body. Panel repairs, mirror replacements, or bumper work near any camera mount can produce distorted parking views. Camera realignment restores accurate surround-view imagery.

Discontinued Model, Still Needs Specialist Attention

The Mulsanne is no longer in production and sits on a platform unique to Bentley (not MLB Evo). Our OEM-grade equipment still supports this platform's radar and sensor calibration. See all Bentley models
