Bentley Continental GT ADAS Calibration

The Continental GT's grand touring role means long motorway journeys where Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Guidance and Lane Assist are relied on for hours at a stretch. When these systems fail after a windscreen replacement or front-end repair, the driving experience changes fundamentally. The Continental GT sits on the same MLB Evo platform as the Audi A8 and Porsche Cayenne – our technicians calibrate these sensors daily across the VW Group range.

ADAS Systems on Your Bentley Continental GT

The Continental GT (3rd generation, 2018+) sits on the MLB Evo platform:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Guidance – radar-based cruise with active steering to keep centred in lane
  • Lane Assist – steers back into lane if you drift without indicating
  • Emergency Braking – automatic braking when a collision is detected
  • Traffic Sign Recognition – camera-based speed limit detection
  • Blind Spot Warning – rear bumper sensors for adjacent lane monitoring
  • Top View Camera – four exterior cameras for bird's-eye parking view (optional)

The Continental GT does not offer Night Vision – that is exclusive to the Bentayga. Touring Specification (highway ADAS package) is optional on the Continental GT, not standard. The front radar sits behind the grille, and the camera is at the windscreen top.

When Your Continental GT Needs ADAS Calibration

After Front Grille or Bumper Repair

The Continental GT's chrome grille is a defining design element – and the radar behind it powers ACC and Emergency Braking. Any grille repair, bumper replacement, or detailed respray requiring bumper removal can shift the radar alignment. If cruise control stopped working after bodywork, radar recalibration restores the system.

After Windscreen Replacement

Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Emergency Braking depend on the windscreen camera. The Continental GT's raked coupe windscreen means precise camera alignment is critical. Our windscreen calibration at £199 accounts for the GT's specific geometry.

Touring Specification – Optional But Critical

Not all Continental GTs have Touring Specification. Owners who selected it depend on ACC with Lane Guidance for motorway driving. After any front-end work, the radar and camera must be verified together. See all Bentley models

Bentley Continental GT ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Bentley Continental GT

Both share the MLB Evo platform and the same sensor hardware. The Flying Spur offers a slightly wider ADAS specification including Head-Up Display. Calibration procedures for shared systems – ACC, Lane Assist, Emergency Braking – are identical.
