Bentley Bentayga ADAS Calibration

The Bentayga is the most common Bentley on UK roads and carries the most comprehensive ADAS specification in the range – Touring Specification, City Specification, Night Vision with thermal camera, Top View Camera, and Trailer Assist. That is five distinct sensor systems, three of them concentrated in the front bumper area alone. When the Bentayga visits a body shop after a front-end encounter, the repair is never just cosmetic.

ADAS Systems on Your Bentley Bentayga

The Bentayga (2016+) sits on the MLB Evo platform shared with Audi Q7/Q8 and Porsche Cayenne:

  • Touring Specification – Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Guidance, Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Forward Collision Warning
  • City Specification – Top View Camera, city-speed automatic braking, pedestrian detection
  • Night Vision – front-mounted infrared camera detecting pedestrians and animals in darkness (optional, unique to the Bentayga in the Bentley range)
  • Blind Spot Warning – rear bumper sensors for adjacent lane monitoring
  • Top View Camera – four exterior cameras for bird's-eye parking view
  • Trailer Assist – rear camera calibration for towing guidance
  • Predictive Adaptive Cruise Assist – uses navigation data to pre-adjust speed for curves

The front bumper houses the radar, Night Vision thermal camera, and ultrasonic sensors – three sensor types in one panel. The windscreen camera sits behind the rear-view mirror. Night Vision is an additional calibration point that most ADAS workshops cannot handle.

When Your Bentley Bentayga Needs Calibration

After Front-End Repair or Collision

The Bentayga's front bumper contains three sensor types – radar, Night Vision infrared camera (where fitted), and ultrasonic parking sensors. A collision or bumper replacement can shift all three. If Adaptive Cruise Control and Night Vision both went offline after bodywork, recalibration of multiple sensors is required.

After Windscreen Replacement

Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Emergency Braking depend on the windscreen camera. Every glass replacement requires recalibration. Our windscreen calibration at £199 uses the same MLB Evo procedures proven on Audi vehicles.

Night Vision – The Bentayga's Unique Calibration Need

Night Vision is exclusive to the Bentayga within the Bentley range. The infrared thermal camera needs its own calibration after any work in the front bumper area. Most ADAS workshops do not offer this service – we do. See all Bentley models

Bentley Bentayga ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Bentley Bentayga

Yes. Night Vision uses a front-mounted infrared camera separate from the main radar and windscreen camera. If the front bumper has been repaired or replaced, the thermal camera needs its own calibration alongside any other affected sensors.
