Yes. Side Assist uses two radar sensors embedded in the rear bumper corners. Even minor rear-end repairs that disturb the bumper can shift these sensors out of alignment. The warning lights won't return until the sensors are professionally recalibrated to the Q2's exact bumper geometry.

Does the Audi Q2 have the zFAS module?

No. The Q2 uses standalone ADAS sensors without the centralised zFAS controller found on the A4, A6, and Q7. This means faults are isolated to the affected sensor – a rear bumper issue won't cascade to the front radar. After Windscreen Replacement

If your Q2 has Active Lane Assist, the windscreen camera must be recalibrated after any glass replacement. Many windscreen companies replace the glass but can't perform the Audi-specific camera calibration – we complete what they started.
