Aston Martin Vanquish ADAS Calibration

The new Vanquish is Aston Martin's flagship grand tourer – replacing the DBS with a twin-turbo V12 and the full Level 2 ADAS suite first introduced on the DB12. If your Vanquish's Adaptive Cruise Control or Lane Keeping Assist has faulted after front-end bodywork, the Mercedes-derived sensor hardware requires Aston Martin-specific calibration procedures that most workshops cannot provide.

ADAS Systems on Your Aston Martin Vanquish

The Vanquish (2025+) carries Aston Martin's most current ADAS package:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Limit Adaptation – front radar behind the grille
  • Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Braking – AEB using radar and windscreen camera
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – windscreen camera behind the rearview mirror
  • Lane Change Assist – monitors adjacent lanes during overtaking
  • Blind Spot Assist – rear-quarter sensors detecting vehicles
  • Rear Cross Traffic Assist – rear sensors warning of approaching vehicles when reversing
  • Speed Limit Recognition – camera-based traffic sign reading
  • 360° Surround View Camera – four cameras around the body
  • Driver Attention Monitor – steering pattern analysis

As Aston Martin's flagship, the Vanquish carries the same full ADAS suite as the DB12 and Vantage (2024+). The sensor hardware is Mercedes-derived but integrated into Aston Martin's bespoke body with unique mounting positions and software.

Common Calibration Triggers for the Vanquish

Front bumper or grille repair: The Vanquish's long bonnet and low stance make front-end contact likely in parking situations. The front radar behind the grille powers ACC and AEB – any grille or bumper work triggers recalibration.

Windscreen replacement: The forward camera controls LKA, LDW, Speed Limit Recognition, and contributes to AEB. A windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration before these systems function again.

Collision repair affecting the front end: A front-end collision on the Vanquish can simultaneously affect the grille radar, windscreen camera, and surround-view cameras. Our Collision Calibration at £349 covers up to three sensor systems.
