Aston Martin Valour ADAS Calibration

The Valour is Aston Martin's 110th anniversary limited edition – 110 units worldwide, a manual gearbox, and a V12 engine. It is deliberately analogue in character, but it still carries parking sensors and basic driver assistance. If your Valour's sensors have been displaced during bodywork on one of the most exclusive Aston Martins ever built, specialist calibration is the only appropriate response.

ADAS Systems on Your Aston Martin Valour

The Valour (2024, limited to 110 units) carries a selective ADAS package:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – forward collision mitigation
  • Blind Spot Detection – rear-quarter sensors monitoring adjacent lanes
  • Front and Rear Parking Sensors – ultrasonic sensors in both bumpers
  • Rear Camera – reversing camera

The Valour does not carry Adaptive Cruise Control or Lane Keeping Assist – it was designed as a purist's GT with a manual gearbox. Its ADAS configuration is closer to the DBS Superleggera than the DB12.

When Your Valour Might Need Calibration

After front bumper repair: The Valour's front bumper houses the AEB sensor and parking sensors. Any front-end contact – a kerb strike, parking barrier impact, or collision – can displace these sensors. If AEB warnings have appeared after bodywork, the sensor needs recalibration.

After rear-quarter or side panel work: The Blind Spot Detection sensors in the rear quarters are affected by panel repairs, paint correction, or any work that involves removing the rear quarter panels.

After rear bumper work: Parking sensors and the rear camera in the Valour's rear bumper need realignment after any repair or replacement work.
