Aston Martin Valhalla ADAS Calibration

The Valhalla is Aston Martin's mid-engine hybrid hypercar – a limited-production vehicle with a bespoke carbon fibre chassis and a very selective ADAS package. Road-going Valhallas carry basic driver assistance systems, but on a car valued north of £600,000, even minimal sensor work demands specialist handling with zero margin for error.

ADAS Systems on Your Aston Martin Valhalla

The Valhalla carries a reduced ADAS suite appropriate to its hypercar positioning:

  • Parking Sensors – front and rear ultrasonic sensors for low-speed manoeuvring
  • Rear Camera – reversing camera for parking assistance
  • Basic AEB – forward collision mitigation at lower speeds

The Valhalla's focus is driver engagement, not autonomous driving assistance. It does not carry Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, or Blind Spot Assist in the same configuration as the DB12 or DBX. Its bespoke carbon fibre monocoque means sensor mounting points are unique to this model.

When Your Valhalla Might Need Sensor Calibration

After front-end bodywork: The Valhalla's aggressive aerodynamic front end means any impact or panel repair near the front sensor area requires recalibration. On a carbon fibre structure, even small deformations affect sensor alignment differently than on an aluminium or steel body.

After rear bumper or diffuser work: The rear parking sensors and camera are integrated into the rear bodywork. The Valhalla's complex aero surfaces mean removing and refitting rear panels is more involved than on conventional cars – any displacement affects sensor accuracy.

After windscreen replacement: If the Valhalla's windscreen has been replaced, any forward-facing camera must be recalibrated. The unique windscreen geometry means the camera's viewing angle is specific to this model.
