The Audi Q7 carries the most complex ADAS suite in Audi's SUV range – Night Vision Assistant, 360-degree cameras, Adaptive Cruise Assist, Side Assist, and the full Pre Sense package, all routed through the zFAS centralised controller. When front-end bodywork disturbs even one sensor, the zFAS module can flag faults across every system it manages simultaneously.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Audi Q7
Yes. Night Vision Assistant uses an infrared camera in the front grille area that requires its own calibration procedure – separate from radar and windscreen camera calibration. If you see a blank, skewed, or pixelated Night Vision display after front-end work, the camera has shifted. We have the manufacturer-approved equipment to calibrate all Q7 ADAS sensors including infrared. The A6 uses the same Night Vision hardware.
