The 12's front bumper houses radar and, on 2026 models, a 96-line LiDAR sensor. The rear bumper on four-LiDAR models also carries a LiDAR unit – meaning both front and rear bumper repairs now trigger LiDAR calibration alongside standard radar recalibration.

After Fender or Side Panel Repair

Solid-state LiDAR sensors sit in the fender areas. Cameras are distributed across side panels. Even a cosmetic fender repair requiring panel removal shifts LiDAR alignment.

After Windscreen Replacement

Forward cameras behind the windscreen feed GOD Network and GAEB. Standard camera recalibration is required after every glass replacement.
