Is the Valkyrie the same platform as other Aston Martins?

No. The Valkyrie uses a bespoke carbon fibre monocoque co-developed with Red Bull Racing. It shares no platform or sensor architecture with the DB12, DBX, or any other Aston Martin. Calibration data is specific to this model.

Can a specialist who works on the DB12 also calibrate the Valkyrie?

The Valkyrie is Aston Martin's ultimate hypercar – co-developed with Red Bull Racing, built around a carbon fibre monocoque with a Cosworth V12. It carries the most minimal ADAS configuration in Aston Martin's range, but the sensors it does have are mounted on one of the most complex chassis architectures in production. The Valkyrie's ADAS is intentionally minimal – this is a driver-focused hypercar:

The Valkyrie does not carry Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, or Automatic Emergency Braking in the conventional sense. Its bespoke carbon fibre monocoque, designed by Adrian Newey, means every component mounting point is unique – no platform sharing with any other Aston Martin model.

When Your Valkyrie Might Need Sensor Calibration

After any body panel work: The Valkyrie's aerodynamic bodywork is designed to produce extreme downforce. Even minor panel adjustments change airflow and can affect sensor mounting angles. The parking sensors and rear camera must be rechecked after any body panel repair or replacement.

After front-end contact: Despite its rarity, Valkyries do see road use. Speed bumps, ramps, and tight car park entries can contact the extremely low front end. If the front parking sensors are misbehaving after an incident, they need recalibration.

After windscreen replacement: The Valkyrie's bespoke windscreen geometry means any replacement glass must be precisely fitted. If any forward-facing sensor is affected, recalibration is mandatory.
